Cecilia Luini

Cecilia Luini is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Università della Svizzera italiana. She holds a PhD in Health Economics from the Università della Svizzera italiana and an MSc in Health Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her experience spans academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and the public sector. She previously worked as a Market Access and Health Economics Consultant in Basel, developing strategies to improve access to innovative health technologies. Her doctoral research focused on the analysis and innovation of health service delivery, with particular attention to the needs of emerging patient clusters such as frail individuals. In 2024, she served as a Scientific Collaborator at the Department of Public Health in Canton Ticino, specializing in data collection and analysis of home care services. She is also a member of the Swiss Learning Health System, a federal network fostering dialogue between research, policy, and practice in the Swiss health system.
