Eloïse Dagneau (lead)

Eloïse Dagneau is the Project Manager of LEAPS ( European consortium on pandemic preparedness and response) at the Research Center for Access-to-Medicines at KU Leuven University, Leuven, Belgium. She is also an Associate Researcher, where she is currently working on the socio-economic impact of the introduction of a new rapid point-of-care diagnostic for viral hemorrhagic fevers, using a systems thinking and human-centered design approach. Additionally, she participates in Una Europa’s UnaVEX program as a moderator in the virtual exchange of European and African students in the field of sustainability to promote intercultural discussions on societal challenges. She has been a member of the Planetary Health Alliance community since 2020.  

Eloïse holds a bachelor’s degree from the Ingram School of Nursing at McGill University, Montréal, Canada. She obtained her full professional license from the Ordre des Infirmières et Infirmiers du Québec in 2022. After working in the Department of Internal Medicine at the General Jewish Hospital in Montréal, she completed her Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialization in Global Health at the University of Southern Denmark in Esbjerg, Denmark, graduating in 2023. There she discovered the field of Environmental Health and conducted her Master thesis on disaster preparedness and the building of resilient health systems.
